Chef Carolyn was raised on a farm in Manitoba. Her passion for cooking great food started at an early age as she watched her mother and grandmother in the kitchen. They showed her how the freshest and simplest ingredients could be turned into the most wonderfully delicious meals. Carolyn took this knowledge and passion to the next level by getting her professional chef designation. During her career, Carolyn has had many fabulous opportunities, which include working with celebrity chefs, cooking at the 2010 G8 Summit and competing on Chopped Canada. Even with all of these accomplishments she feels her greatest strength lies in teaching others.

Al Dente – Making Pasta From Scratch with Chef Carolyn
Join us in the Creative Nomad Studios Kitchen as Chef Carolyn Horn-Jones guides you through the art of pasta making. You will get your hands dirty in this interactive class as you learn how to mix, knead and roll the perfect pasta dough. You will then turn those into both fettuccine and ravioli pasta. Tucked inside the ravioli will be the delicious filling that you will learn and craft in class.
The class will then move into a demonstration of two different and easy pasta sauces that you will be able to make at home and pair with the pasta you have just made.
